REPORT #258 May 2000
WHISTLE BLOWER CLAIMS THE BELIZE RIO BRAVO PROJECT IS EARNING $485 MILLION USA PER YEAR FOR NORTH AMERICAN UTILITIES!

Produced by the Belize Development Trust

I WONDER HOW MUCH OF THIS IS SHARED WITH BELIZE? A HALF, OR $242.50 MILLION USA, OR $490 MILLION BELIZE DOLLARS? NO REPORT OF THIS IN THE PAST ANNUAL BUDGET SPEECH OF THE PRIME MINISTER. WHERE IS THE MONEY?

Did the PUP get hoodwinked again by trying to deal with business sharks from North America, using simple townie lawyers?

Details on Carbon Sequestering can be found at many different sites. To start, try: http://www.eia.doe.gov/oiaf/1605/vr96rpt/chap5.html

Clinton is supposed to be on record somewhere with a tax rebate report for North American utilities regarding the Belize Rio Bravo Project, which has something to do with the cover story of the Nature Conservancy. ( some kind of paper NGO )

What seems to be the case from media impressions, is that Belmopan, got hoodwinked. They were sold a nature conservancy, and bio preserve corridors. But the wheeler dealers behind the scenes are making big bucks, more than the total annual income of the Belize Government, for carbon sequestering. The real motive behind the scenes! So says a whistle blower!

In the URL above, listed as beneficiaries are: Wisconsin Electric, Detroit Edison, Cinerngy, Pacifi Corp. Utili Tree Carbon Co (40 utilities) in the Rio Bravo Project Conservancy. What this all means, I have no idea! But read on, do some web surfing, using carbon sequestering and find out for yourself.

Which raises another question. Is the same thing planned for the Toledo District? I couldn't really believe Julian Cho was murdered by the Esqivel government. But carbon sequestering big bucks is something else. You can sure get murdered if you are in the way of a $485 million USA dollar project. What's going on here? Care to explain to us simple folks in the rural areas, you smart port townies in the capital Belmopan?
