Welcome to Azul, a new level of relaxed luxury accommodations on Ambergris Caye, Belize. Our vision in creating Azul was to combine the space, privacy and comforts of a fine private home, with the amenities and services of a world class resort. There are no "noisy guests on the other side of your bedroom wall" at Azul… there is no crowd in the pool… you will never wait in line to get a beach towel. What Azul IS, are two private luxury 3000 sq ft villas situated on 400' of beautiful beachfront and 10 acres. Yes, just two, because sometimes "less" offers so very much more.

Style

The villas of Azul are designed to marry the best of natural elements and materials with modern comforts and sophisticated conveniences. The beauty of the villas lay in their simplicity. Harsh corners are everywhere replaced by flowing lines. The floor plan is incredibly open… upon entering the villas, guests are greeted with 20-foot ceilings featuring 800lb beams of mylady wood. Throughout the villas, there is extensive use of the beautiful local hardwoods that have made Belize famous: all the windows and doors are hand crafted out of habin… kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, beds and furniture are made of dark, luscious zericote… rooftop pergolas and railings are fashioned from young teak… all grown and cut in Belize. The villas also blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living. Enormous bi-fold windows open up both the living and dining areas to the ocean and tropical breeze. The entire rooftop of each villa is living area as well, with expansive lounging and dining spaces that offer spectacular views of the reef, sunsets and sky.

Belize is unparalleled in the diversity of experiences the country has to offer…. From scuba diving the largest reef in the western hemisphere to exploring ancient Mayan ruins, most all of Belize's attractions are possible on a day trip from Ambergris and Azul. There are also countless fantastic excursions local to Ambergris: snorkeling at the wonderful Hol Chan Marine reserve & Shark Alley, world class fishing and lazy sunset catamaran cruises are all at your doorstep when you stay at Azul… and we will be happy to assist you in planning ANY of the activities you desire to partake in during your stay.

Deposits and cancellation policy:

In order to confirm your reservation we request a 50% deposit. Deposits may be made by Visa or Mastercard. This deposit is subject to the following terms. By signing & returning the deposit authorization form, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to these terms.

Azul’s policy for the refund of any/all deposits due to cancellation is as follows:

If a guest cancellation is made more than forty five (45) days before the scheduled guest arrival date, a full (100%) refund, less a $50.00 (US$) administrative fee, will be given.

If a guest cancellation is made LESS than forty five (45) days before the scheduled guest arrival date but MORE than thirty (30) days prior to arrival, Fifty percent (50%) of the total amount deposited will be refunded.
