The Cloisters is located immediately north of San Pedro approximately one mile north of the center of town. The new Boca del Rio Bridge accommodates golf carts, bicycles and pedestrians but large vehicles are not permitted and the area has retained the tranquility one would expect on a tropical island while being within close proximity to the shops and restaurants in the village. Small cafes serving breakfast, lunch and dinner are in the immediate vicinity.
All air-conditioned one and two bedroom suites have beach front decks, spacious living areas and fully equipped kitchens. Cable television and daily maid service are included.
A swimming pool, sandy beach, bar and 160' pier are for the use and enjoyment of guests.
Diving, fishing and inland tours to the Mayan sites and rain forest can be arranged.
