... thats the word for sailboats that were dumptrucks of the sea... when i first came here.. all the sand and gravel came over in the lighters..usually 2 black guys - toned to the max - as they have to shovel the sand in and out of the boats...they have a brick lined fire hearth on board and cook on wood fires...
