First Automobile on San Pedro
I am open for correction, but I was told by several old timers that this Land-Rover left by British Solders on Ambergris Caye was the first automobile on the island.
It was used to carry luggage from the airstrip to the Holiday Hotel before it died completely. This photo shows the car beside Laborio Azueta's house, he was the island mechanic.
I think i took this in 1986.
